Bowles Outdoor Centre is the centre of excellence for outdoor and experiential learning in the South East of England. Set in stunning countryside on the Kent and Sussex borders, Bowles provides a unique and inspirational learning environment set alongside a spectacular natural sandstone crag.
We are holders of the LOTC Quality Badge for learning outside the classroom and the AHOEC Gold Standard.

Bowles combines a high quality residential centre with excellent outdoor adventurous activity facilities, including two outdoor floodlit dry ski slopes, ropes courses and indoor heated swimming pool.
Registered Charity
Established in 1964, Bowles is a registered charity which exists to contribute to the educational development of young people through the experience of adventurous activities. Our Learning and Development courses covenants all their profits to the charity. This enables us to maintain quality whilst reaching disadvantaged and disabled young people.
Learning and Development Solutions
We now offer a broad range of learning and development solutions for organisations, including team leadership and management development. We are also proud of our fantastic outdoor activity courses for adults, children and their families.
Bowles is located on the Kent/Sussex border five miles from Tunbridge Wells, with London just an hour away by rail or road.
