Come and work in our friendly lively kitchen in lovely surroundings at Bowles Outdoor Centre.

30 hours per week, includes some weekends (an average of 2 per month), must be flexible with hours. Hours are allocated in advance via a monthly rota. Shifts are usually 7:00 – 14:30 or 12:00 – 19:30.

Minimum requirements

NVQ Level 2 or above + Basic Food Hygiene.
Applicants must be able to provide healthy food according to set menus and individual dietary requirements.
Own transport essential.

Seasonal Outdoor Education Instructor

Join our fantastic team at one of the UK’s top outdoor education centres.

Salary: £16,185 to £19,412 pro rata.

If living on-site, a deduction will be made for accommodation and meals.

The ideal candidate will have at least two of the following qualifications;
• SPA or Southern Sandstone Award
• BCU/UKCC level 1 or 2
• BASI or UK Snowsports level 1
• GNAS
• D1 + E minibus entitlement

Freelance Facilitators/Instructors

Based around a sandstone crag we offer residential programmes and courses for professional organisations, companies as well as schools & colleges.

Bowles is looking for established outdoor professionals who are used to working with a range of clients from both corporate and educational settings. Technical qualifications (SPA, D1+E, APIOL) are valuable but more importantly we are looking for reliability, flexibility, a breadth of experience. Facilitation & reviewing skills within a professional development context would be advantageous.
If you live further afield we can offer accommodation for a block of work.
