Established in 1961, Bowles is located on the Kent Sussex border in beautiful countryside, five miles from Tunbridge Wells, with London just an hour away by rail or road.   Clustered along a natural sandstone outcrop, accommodation at the centre has been designed to enhance the relaxed Alpine feel created by the rocks, the ski slope, the fresh air and the pine trees.

From its original focus as a non-profit making charity dedicated to developing young people, Bowles has gone on to become a centre of excellence for all types of experiential learning. The centre now also offers high quality team development, leadership and management training solutions for organisations; as well as a wide range of outdoor activity courses for adults, children and their families.
