Bowles Inspirational Learning

school journey - the benefits

At Bowles we are passionate about outdoor education - about real learning through real experiences. We believe that learning outside the classroom is where most learning should take place because the benefits are profound, inspirational and they last a lifetime.
For school pupils - try exciting new adventurous activities and spend time with your friends. Increase in self-confidence, responsibility, awareness of others and awareness of safety. Be amazed at what you can achieve.
For school staff - the peace of mind of knowing you've chosen one of the country's best regarded, professional, quality conscious outdoor education centres for your school journey
For parents - Be reassured by our highly qualified, experienced and mature instructors and our comprehensive safety management system. WARNING - you may experience real changes in your children. Don't tell them, but we make them clean up after themselves - children have even been known to come home and clear the table!
For head teachers and governors - Challenging, educational outdoor and adventurous activities have a proven impact on classroom attainment and contribute directly to the National curriculum through PE at key stages 1,2,3 and 4. The major risk of a residential at Bowles is that many children remember it as the best experience they ever had whilst 'at school'.
For sixth form and college students - the opportunity to experiment with team and interpersonal skills in real problem solving situations.
For group organisers - Our experienced admin team will support you throughout your booking. A choice from a wide range of outdoor activities many of them on site to give you the perfect programme.
For people from London, the South East, Kent Surrey and Sussex - Maximise activity time and minimise time and money wasted on a coach.
For adult learners - quick progress and skill development through the coaching of expert, enthusiastic staff.
For all participants - fun, adventure and the excitement of trying challenging new adventurous outdoor activities from rock climbing on natural rock to kayaking, from problem solving to zipping down zip wires.
