Corporate Responsibility and Values at Bowles

Did you know that whilst training and developing your staff at Bowles you are also investing in young people and in the local community?

In 2011 Bowles won the West Kent Business Community Award

Did you know that 88% of people are more likely to buy from a company that supports and engages in activities which improve their local community? Working with Bowles, you can make a measurable difference by working in partnership with local businesses and charities to deliver on your CSR commitments, whilst using our market-leading facilities.

Bowles is a residential outdoor learning centre which is run as a charitable trust. The Bowles Learning and Development Sector reinvests all its profits into direct community benefits, working with children and youth groups in the South East, many with learning difficulties or from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Bowles has successfully delivered team and leadership development programmes to organisations for over 20 years. Many longstanding clients, such as the London Fire Brigade, have chosen to work with Bowles because of the high quality of the programmes and our commitment to youth development. In 2010 charitable trusts benefiting from Bowles work included the Anchor Housing Trust, Royal Connections, Youth Inclusion and Regeneration Trust to name but a few.

Partnership

Bowles is offering local businesses and charities the opportunity to work together to really make a difference in their local community.  By making a charitable donation to Bowles, businesses can then choose to develop a programme to suit their business and community needs. The programme can be customised to suit specific requirements but funding could be used to create:

When the L& D profit is invested back into centre to support a range of beneficial projects, you can  help decide where this money goes. For example £3,000 will provide a group of 12 young people with a 5-day residential course, enabling them to have a potentially life changing experience that our challenging activities can offer. £2,000 will help us to introduce archery as a new activity accessible to everyone and £20,000 will buy a new minibus for use by all our visitors.

Bowles philosophy believes that a strong Corporate Responsibility commitment enables an organisation to stand out, since it plays a key role in building long term value. If you would like to explore this opportunity further or visit our facility please contact me directly to arrange a convenient date.

I look forward to hearing from you.
