Authentic Leadership Programme

At Bowles we believe that individuals can be more effective through increased self awareness, both in the way they build relationships and gain commitment, and through perceiving situations from different points of view. Working through a three staged programme with Bowles, delegates will acquire a deeper understanding of their behavioural patterns and habits, whilst not losing sight of their own key values. The aim by the end of the final stage of the programme is for delegates to be equipped with the tools required to be an effective and authentic leader – when business is thriving, as well as during periods of uncertainty.

Unleashing your potential

The first stage of the Programme explores self-awareness and gives delegates a clear understanding of the impact of their working behaviours. Delegates will have already worked on a pre-course evaluation and will receive coaching and feedback throughout the programme. The outcomes will ensure delegates are more self aware and that they are comfortable about acting in accordance with their values. In addition to this, delegates will understand how their values relate to authentic leadership, and will practice how to tackle obstacles to effective leadership.

Partnering & Relationship Building

The second stage of the Programme focuses on improving work-related relationships through the use of the MBTI Psychometric evaluation, and how to ‘make a habit’ of the learning from stage one of the programme. In addition to enabling individuals to understand their MBTI “type” preferences, delegates will be tasked to create activities designed to inspire others, successfully demonstrating the need to take into account the personality type of others. Bowles will help delegates to increase their understanding about their personal development needs in relation to how they influence others.

Thriving on Uncertainty

The final stage of the Programme introduces a series of challenges to enable delegates to demonstrate learning from modules one and two, to ensure success as an authentic leader. Working with a bespoke Pandora’s Box “Working in the Unknown” project, Bowles helps individuals to unlock their potential to excel, whilst performing within uncertainty. Delegates will also be developing their own personal authentic leadership path. The end goal is for all individuals to leave the programme with key actions they can apply back at work, alongside a tangible team action plan, developed and agreed by everyone.
