Introduction to Climbing

This beginners rock climbing course is suitable for complete climbing novices who want to gain the skills and confidence to start climbing on their own, or with a friend or if you just want a taste of this fascinating sport.

Moving Outside

Moving out – get to grips with real rock is for those who have climbed on an indoor wall or have done some climbing in the past. By the end of these courses you should have a good understanding of rope work, belaying, safety and outdoor climbing techniques giving you the knowledge and confidence to go climbing off your own back.

Sandstone Coaching

A focused, coaching course to help you push up through the grades. If you have reached a plateau in your climbing and would like to reach past your current limits this course will be able to help. This improver’s course will cover climbing techniques such as balance and footwork as well as the importance of mental preparation and route reading.

Intro to climbing

All courses take place on the natural sandstone of Bowles Rocks.  Course times are 0930 – 1630, packed lunch needed.
