SKI & SNOWBOARD COURSES, PRIVATE LESSONS & OPEN SLOPE SESSIONS- these will start again in November 2010
Bowles
has two dry ski slopes, a beginners slope and a longer dendix slope. Bowles is just off the A26, five miles south of Tunbridge
Wells on the Kent -Sussex border. Skiing and snowboarding courses, Ski lessons, snowboard lessons and open slope sessions (which include coaching) are all available throughout the winter months. Private lessons are available throughout the year.
Equipment hire is included in the cost of the courses,
lessons and
open sessions.
Our experienced, qualified, mature
and patient instructors are the key to your progress. We have a reputation for high quality instruction and
have an instructor available on most open sessions
to give you tips, advice and coaching.
Our nursery slope is made of Snowflex and is the ideal surface for learning to ski and snowboard.
Our Dendix main slope provides a faster, longer ski slope for more advanced learners and for skiers and boarders
wanting to practice their skills.
Both ski slopes are floodlit, allowing sessions to run into the night in winter.
They also have variable speed button tow-lifts and water spray
systems for smooth skiing whatever the weather.
As well as our open ski and snowboard sessions, our dry ski slope plays host to clubs including Kent and Sussex Ski Club, Disability Snowsport UK and
Bowles Ski Racing
Club.
Skiers and boarders with disabilities are welcome to use the slope during practice times; we provide adapted equipment.
If someone with a disability wishes to learn to ski or board and is prevented by the nature of their disability from joining group courses, we will be pleased to offer private tuition at the same price as a course.
