Bowles Inspirational Learning

Skiing and other public courses

Learning to ski or snowboard at Bowles is different because of our fantastic team of professional instructors

Open slope and practice sessions will start again in October 2011

Bowles, unlike many other ski slopes, offers ski coaching as part of most open sessions.

There is no need to book any of our open slope sessions, just turn up.  Boot, ski and snowboard hire is included in the price, but feel free to bring your own.

The slope will be open for open practice again in October - times will be:

Monday nights - 7.30pm to 9.30pm (until end of April)

Wednesday nights - 7.30pm to 9.30pm (until end of March)

Thursday mornings - 9.30am to 12.30pm (until end of April)

Friday evening - 5.30pm to 7.30pm (Race Club)

Saturday afternoons - 1pm to 5pm (Kids Club) (until end of April)

Sundays - 11am to 7pm (October and April - 1pm to 5pm )

All sessions apart from Sundays include ski coaching in the price.

Race Club is for good skiers to learn race technique with expert coaching.

Kids Club is for under-18s.

Open Sessions cost £8 per hour (£7 for under-16s), apart from Kids Club (£6 per hour) and Race Club (£6 per session). You can also ski all morning on Thursdays for only £16.

For all of these sessions, skiers should be able to stop and turn under control and boarders should be able to do a falling leaf. If you’re not quite up to this level, why not book a course or email us to book a private lesson?

All skiers and boarders need to complete a slope membership form to be given a slope membership card. This needs to be shown when using the slope. Under 18s need their form signed by a parent or guardian.
